PLEASE DO NOT ATTEND THE PRACTICE IF YOU HAVE ANY OF THE FOLLOWING: # a high temperature # a new continuous cough # any loss of sense of smell or taste.

PLEASE PHONE THE PRACTICE ON 0131 240 2810, preferably with a contact number for a clinician to call you back.

This will help to protect others in your community while you are infectious.  Do not attend the surgery, pharmacy or hospital.  You do not need to contact NHS 111 to tell them you’re staying at home.  We will not be testing people who are self-isolating with mild symptoms.

PLEASE NOTE: There will be no Women Only Clinic at 17 Leith Street until further notice.

Our longterm team consists of three GPs, and we also are joined each year by a visiting GP fellow (academic GP).

Our GPs are Dr Digby Thomas, Dr John Budd and Dr Aisling Quiery.

The GP Fellow for 2019/2020 is Dr Gillian Noble.

Our daily clinics are run on a drop-in basis across the two surgery sights and details of these can be found under the “opening hours” section.

We offer all routine GP services at the practice.  In addition to this we all have a specialist interest in providing healthcare for patients who are homeless, and all have additional expertise in mental health problems and substance misuse problems.

On Thursday afternoons, we offer a dedicated men-only clinic (Spittal Street – Dr Thomas) and women-only clinic (The Access Point – Dr Quiery) if patients would prefer to attend these.
