PLEASE DO NOT ATTEND THE PRACTICE IF YOU HAVE ANY OF THE FOLLOWING: # a high temperature # a new continuous cough # any loss of sense of smell or taste.

PLEASE PHONE THE PRACTICE ON 0131 240 2810, preferably with a contact number for a clinician to call you back.

This will help to protect others in your community while you are infectious.  Do not attend the surgery, pharmacy or hospital.  You do not need to contact NHS 111 to tell them you’re staying at home.  We will not be testing people who are self-isolating with mild symptoms.

PLEASE NOTE: There will be no Women Only Clinic at 17 Leith Street until further notice.

How to Get on the EAP Patient List

Please see the 'Appointments' tab for details on how to register with Edinburgh Access Practice.

Our electronic registration forms are now available to download under the New Patient Registration Forms tab.

You can normally only be on the ‘list’ of one GP Practice at a time. For this reason, if you want to be considered for the EAP ‘list’, you will require to tell us who your previous GP was, or where the surgery was which last provided you with medical care.

We can usually find that information for you if you are unsure of the name and address of your last GP. We will make contact with your previous GP to check what treatment you have been receiving.

We cannot provide treatment for you without contacting your previous GP if we feel this is necessary.

Guide to GP Services

The Royal College of General Practitioners has produced a useful guide for patients about the services on offer at GP Surgeries and how to access them.  You can download the guide below.
