ACCESS PRACTICE AT OPENING HOURS DURING COVID-19 PANDEMIC FROM MONDAY 28th SEPTEMBER 2020

9:30AM – 12:45PM

1:45PM – 5:00PM

PLEASE DO NOT ATTEND THE PRACTICE IF YOU HAVE ANY OF THE FOLLOWING: # a high temperature # a new continuous cough # any loss of sense of smell or taste.

PLEASE PHONE THE PRACTICE ON 0131 240 2810, preferably with a contact number for a clinician to call you back.

This will help to protect others in your community while you are infectious.  Do not attend the surgery, pharmacy or hospital.  You do not need to contact NHS 111 to tell them you’re staying at home.  We will not be testing people who are self-isolating with mild symptoms.

PLEASE NOTE: There will be no Women Only Clinic at 17 Leith Street until further notice.

Repeat Prescriptions

If you are a patient on regular medication and the doctor has told you that you can have a repeat prescription without needing an appointment, you can make this request at reception using the repeat medication part of your prescription.Simply tick the boxes of the items your require a prescription to be issued for and either post or hand in to reception.

Where possible, please allow 48 hours before returning to collect a prescription.

SUBSTANCE MISUSE TEAM

If you have any prescription enquiries regarding the EAP Substance Misuse Team,  please contact your CPN in the first instance. A message can be left for CPNs with Reception (0131 240 2810)

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip. Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
